Ceiling Light Art Deco Rare Spheroid White Cased Glass Globe & New Brass Gallery

  

A Rare and Unusual Original Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Lampshade. The shade dates back to the Art Deco Period. This light has a rare Spheroid moulded cased light glass lampshade. From one side the shade looks like a normal globe but when viewed from one end the unusual shape becomes apparent.

Shades of this shape are rarely found. The shade is offered with a brand new Antique style brass three screw gallery. The gallery has a standard UK Bayonet cap opening making it an easy fit Art Deco ceiling light, ideal for an enclosed porch, hall or landing. The shape and the type of glass used to make shade offers a warm and typically Art Deco lighting effect.

This listing is for the Vintage Glass lampshade and New brass gallery only. It can be fitted to an existing pendant point. Note that the fitting hole diameter is 2.7 Cm which will fit brass pendants but may not fit some larger plastic pendant fittings.

The lampshade and gallery come without any wiring, lamp holders or other fittings. Shade Diameter is 20 Cm x Depth of 9.5 Cm x Fitting hole diameter of 2.7 Cm. Please see my photos for the best description.

Condition is good for its age. Small marks from manufacture & use in the glass but no chips, cracks or damage. Slight use marks to the fitting lip that are hidden in use. The gallery is sound and brand new. Again, please see my images for details.
