Faile, The Wolf Within Red, Rare, Screenprint, Edition of 50

  

Faile, The Wolf Within (Red) hand finished screen print, edition of 50. This is a rare Faile print and one that was hard (lucky) to get hold of.

The print was released at the end of 2012 and was available only via a lottery after donating to a Hurricane Sandy relief fund. From the donations, twenty five people were selected to receive one of these prints, myself included. It's actually an edition of fifty so presume the remaining twenty five were distributed among friends/associates/etc. The print is on thick paper and is heavily hand finished in the usual faile style, with an abundance of thickly applied paint and much splattering with tea/coffee. The screen printed element is, as far as I can see, a single colour (red).

Reverse of the print shows the print to have been made on previously used/printed on paper. Really nice example of their work and not a print that is offered for sale very often.
