The Art Of Style: Into the Studio with the BOSS x Jeremyville Holiday Collection. BOSS has made contemporary art part of its brand for years, from its annual HUGO BOSS Prize (in partnership with the Guggenheim) to its regular collaborations with artists. The brand's 2018 holiday collection with New York-based illustrator and artist Jeremyville is the latest. "Every project starts with a drawing in my sketchbook, and it grows from there, " Jeremyville says. This time, what emerged from his sketchbook was a range of animal characters and deconstructions of an imaginary city-"totems to the holidays, " he calls them.

The exclusive designs blend his pop-art style with a Bauhaus-inspired abstraction that's appropriate to the German powerhouse brand and its roots. Though he's an artist now, Australia-born Jeremyville first expressed himself through fashion. "During my private high school days in Sydney, I sewed my pants into a stovepipe silhouette, turned the collar up on my school jacket, and even wore a bit of eyeliner, " he says. "These days I'm more into a functional uniform, " especially for work days at the West Village studio he shares with business partner Megan Mair. The studio served as backdrop for 5 GQ Insiders styled in BOSS x Jeremyville holiday-season looks-and as a reminder of the fashion brand's commitment to keeping art in the picture.
