IF YOU COULD PRINT SERIES. Since about 2006, the UK design firm of HudsonBee has invited contemporary image makers to create art work in response to a particular question. In 2008, the question posed was: If you could do anything tomorrow, what would it be? The graphics created in response to this question were originally posters. It appears that images were then created from these posters and printed in a two-colour scheme (essentially in red and black) in a smaller format in a limited edition, and collected in a portfolio.

This particular portfolio is numbered 244 out of a limited edition of 1500. There are 24 images in total, all printed on heavier stock providing a variety of very creative responses to the posed question. Genevieve Gauckler, Anthony Burrill, Tom Gould, Rob Ryan, Build, Kam Tang, Ian Wright, Hellovon, and others. A separate explanatory page is also included, which further describes this project and'experiment', written as a Foreword by Adrian Shaughnessy (a colour photo of the special presses used to print the posters appears on the reverse of this page).

The whole group is enclosed in a bright red portfolio. Scarce item in fine/as new condition. 6.5" x 9" with 24 separate sheets (each essentially a mini poster), and the foreword. Please refer to the 14 uploaded images for a clear indication of both condition and content. 9.75 x 6.25 inches.
