Rare Vintage 1947 New Orleans Art Print Serigraph Bourbon St Desire Street Car

  
Scroll Down For More Photos. Fresh from a Dallas Estate comes this signed embossed print made by The New Orleans Transportation Advertisers Incorp. This example is titled "Bourbon St 1947".

The art depicts the corner of Bourbon St and Bienville with all the store signs like "The Old Absinthe House" among others and the famous streetcar Desire. 27 1/2 inches tall and 23 inches wide. This piece is rolled with several condition issues including the following: Single hole in each corner, slight 1 inch tear on the top center, another 1/8 tear on the lower bottom right, several faint creases along the top and bottom, slight chipping and nicks along the edges and finally, there is some discoloration along the margins.

Almost none of these issues affect the artwork itself. The art in embossed in the lower left corner "New Orleans Transportation Advertisers Incorporation" and "Serigraph USA" and it is also pencil signed on the lower right corner Transportation Advert.
